VIDEO REVIEW – CEROSE, REBLAH, SKYE AND DWAYNE TRYUMF “GIVE HIM PRAISE” VISUALS

Meshing a combination of afro-beats with Caribbean riddims – the video for Give Him Praise is definitely a summer smash! Despite this, I couldn’t get over the fact they are wearing coats and hoodies….

Essentially, the video compromises of a praise party on a rooftop in the city of London. The B roll of the city and it’s skyline matches the streetwise vibes of the song perfectly. Having just the four of them spitting their bars, dancing along and praising God in the background is simple yet…perfectly suitable.

HE’S BACK! RAP VETERAN DWAYNE TRYUMF DROPS A NEW SUMMER BANGER ‘SANCTIFIED’

he UKCHH veteran who’s worked with the likes of Lecrae & Muiywa and only a few months ago appeared on the albumThe Cross & The Switchblade’ by Cerose & Reblah releases new single ‘Sanctified’.

The song features Ian Copeland Green on chorus and production. A hit-maker who really complemented the style of music and flow that Dwayne has. Their previous partnership really shone through on his previous release ‘Left Behind’ which was released 3 October 2015, which is a long time in the current musical climate, but exciting to see Dwayne back!

Cerose & Reblah hold nothing back!

When we went down to Cerose and Reblah’s video shoot for ‘Jesus My Saviour’, we got more than we expected. What started out as a behind the scenes eventually turned into a full blown interview that lasted a good part of an hour. Deep conversation about more or less everything to do with Christian rap, the faith, controversial opinion and much more. Oh yeah we also had a chat about their new joint release The Cross Vs The Switchblade out now via our shop.

I get it, not everyone subscribes to the title/label “Christian rapper” with much divided opinion regarding it. There is a point where it helps us identify who and what we are listening too. Still, we are here now with one of the most straight talking and compelling interviews to hit the scene in a long time.

“The Cross vs The Switchblade” is like a musical experience of urban life & culture through the eyes of a believer but also has the ability to cross over to the secular scene, as it deals with many “real” issues, still very clear when it comes to communicating the core message. Christ.

Revival Riddim, brings a lot of expectation because of the features on this one, a track that you would hit on repeat lyrically. The bars need to be digested time and time again because it’s heavily packed with good and well written content. MaineSkye Dwayne Tryumf feature on this number.
