VIDEO REVIEW – CEROSE, REBLAH, SKYE AND DWAYNE TRYUMF “GIVE HIM PRAISE” VISUALS

Meshing a combination of afro-beats with Caribbean riddims – the video for Give Him Praise is definitely a summer smash! Despite this, I couldn’t get over the fact they are wearing coats and hoodies….

Essentially, the video compromises of a praise party on a rooftop in the city of London. The B roll of the city and it’s skyline matches the streetwise vibes of the song perfectly. Having just the four of them spitting their bars, dancing along and praising God in the background is simple yet…perfectly suitable.

Some however may think they could’ve gone done another route video for the 3 min 50 second track. Locating the video on a roof top – close to the clear, sunny sky creates an almost visual closeness to God up in heaven. This is a nice touch.

I found the opening to the video really professional and enticing. Despite knowing Cerose and Tryumf being part of this project – the opening alone had me expecting great things and I wasn’t disappointed. The videography and direction is excellent and there is no doubt those in front of the camera knew what they were doing. In fact, it looked like a lot of fun to make and another collaboration would be well received (and appreciated) from the KCMIX team.
