When we came across this video from #UKCR Rapper Aaron P’Reach we wondered want it would entail. An artist who heavily infuses his bars with the gospel message, brings a song for the ‘streets’ the road man living the dangerous lifestyle.
… tell me who’s better to rap about? That’s rhetorical nobody else can match his crown …
This track is coming across as a statement track that is showing his target audience who he’s repping. Aaron’s flow hugs the beat, and the bars don’t disappoint with;
… telling us grandaddy was a ape man, no wonder why we act like animals, cave man …
I would have been good to see more variety of scenes in the music video, probably towards the subject matter that he was talking about to insight visual representation, but still works well as you do tend to focus on what he’s saying. I’m not too sure about the “Will Smith” analogy to “Religion” reference and the break in music but P’Reach shows passion in delivery and a grit in his faith in music.
