There is a cross between, outreach and edification that I’ve found, which pops up in CHH. There is a sense of responsibility towards the Christian artist who gets involved in Rap music. Two alternatives I have come across when I question their motives; either to EDIFY or OUTREACH.
Rapper A Star who is known for the #TwoZeroOne series that showcases his thoughts and intentions for the following year has been an artist who has featured on countless #UKCHH projects across the board, from JayEss to S.O., Guvna B to Tneek, the Leytonstone rapper has graced them all. Blew up his headline show with a packed out venue on his debut EP release ‘Revolutionary‘. It seems like he enjoys the challenge and hustle that comes with being a musician.
The ‘Light Work’ rapper said he would “kill this” when referring to the melodic side of making rap music in this current climate when we spoke back in November about music. Listening to this track off his latest project “Light Work 2 Bars & Melodies” you can sense the confidence and talent Bizzle comes with to blend the two very well.
Dee Witness is an artist that has an effortless flow and a good range of vocabulary, so when you see a title like this you don’t expect ‘cheesy notions’ and ‘flaky nuances’. That’s right you don’t get those but an artist who thinks through his bars very well and delivers us a great picture into his expectations, in his heart for his future wife.
