STILL SHADEY RELEASES SELF REFLECTIVE EP “SABBATH”
South London Rapper Still Shadey nearly lost his life 2 months ago after being involved in a critical car crash – the same day as Kobe Bryant’s fatal helicopter crash.
After falling asleep behind the wheel, Shadey was forced to adhere to the advice he had ignored for so long: rest.
The “SABBATH” EP a 5 track project embodying the pain, reflection and psychological journey the artist went through following the crash.
Shadey says;
It’s personal, it’s transparent, it’s medicinal to the weary soul.
‘D.W’ preludes the story of the EP, showcasing the hardworking Shadey before the crash. Broken, frustrated, tired and angry, Shadey voices his deeper weakness in ‘Alone’.
‘Still Breathing’ narrates the thoughts and emotions of the artist shortly after the incident via hard-hitting raps and soulful melodies.
Joy comes in the morning, the EP is concluded by therapeutic sounds to the soul in ‘Rest In Your Arms’.
