Rapper Still Shadey drops ‘Sold my Soul’ music video after the announcement of KB Records, his independent record label launch. This track is a great message to the secular industry at large and the potential offers that they might allure artists away with. The fame, money, recognition and acclaim that can be gained from the exposure some of these major labels and contacts can give.
Still Shadey much like Bizzle on his track ‘Lit Lit’ talks about ‘they tell me I can give you murder, but no Jesus’. Clearly, as UKCHH and CHH as a whole rise up as influential and noticeable, it is an industry in itself that is not regulated and stampede’s forward with devout ‘Christian’ rappers. Proposals and contacts will be made, for good or bad remain to be seen.
Still Shadey makes a brave and bold statement here, what do you think?
